Contact us at Eastbourne Car Keys and allow us to take care of your lost car key headache.

Why use Eastbourne replace car keys?

We come out to your car. A main dealer would require you to have the car towed to their workshop for the new keys to be programmed to the vehicle.

We always aim to replace your misplaced auto-mobile keys the same day .The dealer may not be able to fit you in for several weeks and you could find you have to wait for replacement keys to be delivered from overseas.

Our replacement car keys are provided at a much lower price than a dealer. We will always do our best to come out to you and replace your missing keys at a price that wont leave a hole in your pocket.

What to do if you car keys have been stolen?

First of all contact the police. Especially if you feel your vehicle may be at a security risk.
Then contact Eastbourne car keys. We are able to erase the stolen keys from the vehicles immobiliser box or ECU. We then re-code the locks to new combinations and produce a new working key so you don’t have to worry about the car being stolen.

Replacing lost or broken car keys

All replacement car keys are either cut to code, pattern or lock.

At Eastbourne Car Keys we carry blank keys that can be cut at the roadside with the latest key cutting machinery to ensure all new car keys produced are a perfect fit.

Misplaced car keys can be re-manufactured and cut to code from the vehicle door or ignition lock.

If your car is fitted with an immobiliser system it will only operate with a correctly programmed transponder key and we will need to reprogram a new key to your vehicles main ECU or immobiliser box.

Does my car have an immobiliser?

Cars produced and sold in the UK since 1995 are mostly fitted with an immobiliser system. These cars require a transponder key with an embedded electronic transponder chip to start the vehicle. When the key is turned in the ignition the code is read and the vehicle will only start if the correct code is received. This system was introduced to reduce vehicle crime and prevent cars from being started without the correct key. A broken or lost transponder car key will result in the vehicle not starting upon turning the key in the ignition.

Eastbourne Car Keys utilise highly sophisticated key programming equipment, which allows our mobile car locksmith’s to program replacement transponder keys for most makes of vehicle at the roadside.
